SLU Alumni Foundation Inc. (ALU-AFI)

"A Responsive and sustainable foundation for the professional growth and well-being of the SLU alumni, proud of their Alma Mater."

The creation of the St. Louis University Alumni Foundation, Inc. (SLU-AFI) was inspired by the vision and mission of Saint Louis University (SLU) which is "the integral human formation of the youth through a Christian development of knowledge, skills and attitudes within the context of service in the church."

The Foundation was formerly known as the SLU Alumni Association before it was converted into a Foundation in 1992. SLU-AFI was founded on April 28, 1992 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 24, 1993 under SEC Registration No. BN093-000109.

The Foundation's Mission is to provide the avenue for the professional growth and well-being of the SLU alumni. Thus it aims to initiate projects that would encourage the growth and development of a closer, cohesive and participative relationship among the SLU alumni.

Since the 1980s, SLUAFI has implemented a scholarship program for poor but deserving students enrolled in the different colleges of SLU. It has also involved itself in various activities of the University and the community. The Foundation shall pursue to implement more projects and services for the benefit of the SLU alumni.

The SLUAFI Board of Trustees envisions the Foundation to continue to be a dynamic and relevant organization serving the SLU alumni as well as the communities where it propagates its mission and objectives.
