By Christian tradition we observe today the memory of the martyrdom of the first century missionary couple Aquila and Priscilla. Aquila and Priscilla were St Paul’s trusted friends and important coworkers in the mission. They were effective lay leaders in the Church and teachers of the Gospel.   Let it be our prayer that the CICM further will continue to develop significant missionary partnership with lay people who have a role to play in the work of evangelization.
