Catholic universities by virtue of their nature have to be interested in the search for truth, and to be interesting as well in the manner of presenting it to society. Young people are looking for something to hold on to, in the face of fleeting ideas and developments. May Catholic universities like SLU creatively communicate and courageously defend the truths of human dignity and social justice in a society that is indifferent to truth-seeking.
