Appearing to his disciples in luminous form, Jesus bids them to remain silent of the divine wonder they just have witnessed. That is the Transfiguration of Jesus, which the Church celebrates today. What this episode in the life of our Lord tells us today is quite a simple one: a life in truth shines out to illumine the path for others to find their way to God.
