MOMFI is being supported in part by SLU. Other additional funds are solicited and/or donated by the Philippine Association of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (PASMOM), UNICEF, the Nutrition Center of the Philippines, Department of Health, government institutions, pharmaceutical companies, religious and civic organizations, private establishments, philanthropists and the like.

Primary Health Care teaches that the community must have a certain responsibility or counterpart. With consideration, the usual agreement is that the requesting community provides for the transportation and accommodation of the medical team. Furthermore, sponsoring groups who have resources often give financial counterpart to defray the cost of medicines and supplies. Although when expenses are incurred, in hole or in part, they may be shouldered by MOMFI as long as funds would sufficiently permit.

Financial assistance given by financially-stable sponsors are welcome as well as the partnerships such as the Earthquake Rehabilitation Program (in 1995), PLAN International (in 1996), the Alfredo Yunchengco Foundation (in 1999-2000), Social Action Center of Zambales (1998-2000), Hiyas ng Pag-asa and Binhi ng Pag-asa Foundations (2000-2001). Local parishes such as those from the SVD Catholic Missions and other private organizations at times also provide financial aid.
