SLU Net Office

The SLUNET Office is envisioned as an office that is capable of delivering excellent quality support services thru the planning, designing, and implementation of state-of-the-art computer hardware and networking technologies for the university, including the operation and maintenance aspects of such technologies.

The SLU Net Office takes charge of the operational management of the University's computing resources found the different computer laboratories as well as in the various offices. Among its services are the following: planning, designing, implementation and operation of the university-wide computer network backbone which delivers Internet and Intranet services; ensuring the interconnection of SLU's member schools to the Internet; providing consultancy services in the deployment of computing systems; offering Internet services to private entities; and, finally, acting as catalyst in the use and development of Internet technologies for the administrative and research functions of the University.
