ELECTORAL PROCESS
The Young Louisians' Way
As early as their elementary years, pupils with leadership potential are tapped to lead their fellow Louisians to become better individuals. Their first step is to take the leadership seminar prepared for them by the Guidance Counselors. After learning the basic meaning of leadership and the skills of a leader, the pupils form their respective parties for the Louisian Student Council and their respective classes. They also file their candidacy signed by their class adviser, their HEKASI teacher and their GLA. After which they are given a campaign period (room-to-room campaign) to share their future plans and project with their schoolmates and classmates. One of the most awaited events is the meeting-de-avance where the candidates and some members of the different LSC parties are given the chance to share their platforms while showing their lighter side to their schoolmates.
Each classroom is considered a precinct for the election where the pupils choose their leader via secret ballot. Each classroom has their respective COMELEC officials, known as Board of Election Inspectors (BEI), to make certain that the proper procedures are followed for the electoral process. All these activities are through the efforts of the HEKASI department headed by Mrs. Soledad Emiliano in coordination with the class advisers.
