SLU-LES Intramurals 2005

The theme for this school year's Intramural is "MERGING the POWER of TECHNOLOGY and SPORTS TOWARDS a PEACEFUL, UNITED and HEALTHY COMMUNITY." The SLU Burgos Gym was overflowing with members of the SLU LES family and supportive parents and guest of the pupils last Oct. 28, 2005 .

It was a day filled with surprises and teeming with energy. The 2005 Intramurals was truly an event that will be remembered because of the vivid creativity of the teams, the dazzling and energetic display of cheers and the fantastic array of camaraderie and sportsmanship among all participants.

The stormy weather was no match to the heat and intensity of the four competing teams that day. The judges were all impressed at the originality and execution of the yells, songs, stomps and actions in the cheering competition.

The long hours of rigorous practice and preparation paid off when indeed, all teams showcased what they have toiled and tarried for! It was a cornucopia of sights, sounds and sizzle. The children's energy level can only be matched by their parents' and teachers' full blast support for their respective teams.

Certainly, the 2005 Intramural became an epitome of the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that the school, its administrators, teachers, staff, pupils and parents uphold! Next year would be an even tougher year for all those who make up the school since this year's Intramurals was indeed a blast!
