WIFI in the 4th, 5th, and 6th Floor Libraries
The UNL provides wireless internet access that enables stakeholders to connect their electronic devices to the library’s network, granting them access to a wide range of online resources and services. that fosters collaborative and technology-driven learning environment.


Bean bags, graphic novels corner, mental health space per floor, game boards per floor, and nap zones
The UNL welcomes library users to catch up on 15 – 20 minutes of power nap in these Zzz zone areas. Likewise, the availability of graphic novels and game boards offer healthy collaboration and unique learning experiences for our stakeholders.



Study Spaces: Quiet zones, Collaborative Rooms, and Study zones
To accommodate the diverse needs of stakeholders, the UNL provided spaces such as individual study carrels, collaboration rooms, and quiet zones. Moreover, the Drafting Area, located at the mezzanine of 6F libraries was also established for engineering and architecture students.


Research Support Services: Assistance with finding, organizing, and citing academic materials
The UNL is reachable via fingertips through its Facebook pages, online public access catalog and dedicated electronic mail addresses with dedicated librarians to assist and accommodate concerns from stakeholders.

Information literacy provides assistance in seeking, evaluating and using relevant resources that are valuable in organizing and creating information to aid in the academic requirements of students and faculty. It also seeks to promote available resources that the UNL can offer.

American Corner Baguio
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC): Facilitating online courses through study groups or special resources
AC MOOC Camp provides learning opportunities and resources to participants by enhancing their skills in various areas such as leadership, entrepreneurship, civic engagement and sustainable development.

Thematic Exhibits and Events: Programs related to academic or cultural themes to promote learning
The Monthly Thematic Programs are spearheaded by the American Corner that engage a diverse range of key audiences in partnership with individual or team members from USG Alumni networks (YSEALI, Fulbright, IVLP, etc.), experts from local universities and government agencies.

Digital Literacy Workshops: Training using databases, citation software, and digital tools
eLibraryUSA sessions offer participants learning opportunities on how to effectively access and use the online resources available at the American Corner. They provide accurate information on U.S. culture, values, higher education, and government and support U.S. Embassy priorities such as American English language learning, climate change, women’s empowerment, diversity, and innovation.

Quick2Game: English language games
Quick2Game conducts gamified learning sessions to help students improve their English skills. With a ready-to-use module and trained facilitators, their sessions offer a fun and enjoyable way of learning English language.

Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) 2024: empowering non-working mothers of Barangay Happy Hallow
The 2024 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Baguio project empowers non-working Ibaloi mothers in Baguio City through livelihood training aligned with CICM advocacies, UNSDG 1, 2, 5, 8, 12 and 17. Facilitated by SLU’s American Corner and Outreach Programs, It includes production skills, English enrichment, and business compliance guidance.
