Saint Louis University (SLU) through the Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA) hosted a Job Fair together with the Department of Labor and Employment – Cordillera Administrative Region (DOLE-CAR) and Public Employment Service Office (PESO) last 29 April 2025 at the SLU Main Campus, Baguio City.

The 2025 Job Fair catered to Louisian undergraduates and SLU alumni jobseekers. This year, 28 companies participated in the Job Fair including Technodream, The French Baker Inc., Global Agility Solutions, LLC, JMP Twin Eagle Manpower & Allied Services Inc., CS Global Workplace Inc., Sunshine Supermart, Inc., McDonald’s Baguio-Benguet, Foundever Philippines Corporation-Baguio, SM Supermarket (Supervalue, Inc.), Baguio Country Club Corporation, Central Luzon Integrated Oncology Center Inc., Land Bank of the Philippines, AJO 101 Management Corporation, GreatBev.Inc, Vester Corporation, Goldrich Construction & Trading, Sun Life of Canada, Phils., Inc., SM Supermalls, Thoughtfocus Inc. Ph, Unilab, Inc., The Medical City Clark, Subic Bay Metropolitan Labor Department, Concentrix Baguio , The Hotel Veniz, Malayan Insurance, Laus Group Holding Inc., Philippine Army, and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Aside from the participating and hiring companies, six (6) other companies and agencies offered their services for the Job Fair. Among these were the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Public Employment and Service Office (PESO), Jobstreet by Seek, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC),and Pagtutulungan sa Kinabukasan: Ikaw, Bangko, Industriya at Gobyerno (PAG-IBIG).












During the opening ceremony, the SLU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Feline P. Espique, Phd joined and welcomed the guest speakers together with the SLU-OGRAA Director Stephenie O. Busbus, PhD, which took place at Fr. Paul Van Parijs Center of the SLU Main Campus.


Four (4) undergraduate schools of the university– School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA), School of Nursing, Allied Health,and Biological Sciences (SONAHBS), School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA), School of Accountancy,Management, Computing and Information Studies (SAMCIS)– were invited to attend the career talk given by Ryah Claudette Q. Sarile, a Human Resource and Organizational Specialist and Kaye Leah C. Sitchon, Writer of the SLU University Information Office (UIO), as a part of the day’s program.
Ms. Sarile’s timely and insightful talk, “Campus to Career: Thriving Through the Transition,” centered on equipping students for life beyond the university. Ms. Sitchon’s talk, on the other hand, focused on career essentials, “Building Your Personal and Professional Brand,” going in-depth on how to manage one’s digital footprint in the evolving job market.




Furthermore, the participating companies offered on-the-spot applications and interviews that were encountered by the graduating student and jobseeker attendees of the event after they had been given the opportunity to explore the booths.

After a long day of exploration, the Job Fair concluded with a strong finish of almost one thousand registered participants.
SLU’s dedication and commitment to the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals were reflected upon the event as the aim involved Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16), and Partnership for Goals (SDG 17) that helped bring together several companies for sustainable cooperative union.
