Saint Louis University (SLU), through the Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA), formally inducted the officers of the Alumni Association of the School of Accountancy, Management, Computing, and Information Studies (SAMCIS) Chapter for the term 2025–2027 on 14 May 2025 at the Roses Conference Room, Burgos Building, SLU Main Campus.
The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD, University President. Also present as a witness was Director of the OGRAA, Stephenie O. Busbus, PhD.



The newly inducted officers include Purita O. Pacial as President; Lorna L. Mabutas as Vice President; Jennilyn L. Avelino as Secretary; Carmencita M. Dionisio as Assistant Secretary; Victoria-Ann L. Jaurigue as Treasurer; Herminia B. Samuel as Auditor; and Allan Frank B. Silva as Public Relations Officer. Serving as members of the Board of Trustees are Maria Louisa Agoo-Meneses, Joel P. Guillermo, Teodora D. Caguicla, Ambrosio David, and Melody Elizabeth C. Carullo. Jaime R. Lopez was also appointed as Adviser to the chapter.
This induction underscores SLU’s continuous efforts to strengthen its alumni network, foster leadership, and uphold the values of Louisians through active engagement across professional fields. It also supports the university’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting lifelong learning and leadership beyond the classroom, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by reinforcing collaborative ties between the university and its alumni.
