In line with fostering international partnership and exchange, Saint Louis University (SLU) welcomed delegates from Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) for an educational discussion and campus visit on 19 January 2026.
The representatives from UAJY provided an insightful overview of their institutional framework and the distinguished faculty behind their programs. By reflecting on their past milestones and presenting a thoughtfully crafted proposal for future collaboration, they laid a promising foundation for a vibrant partnership with SLU.

The visit continued with a guided tour of the campus, beginning at the offices of the administrative center. The delegates explored several key facilities including the ‘Water is Life’, the Finance Office, and the Office of Academic Affairs. The visitors also had a meaningful dialogue with SLU President Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD.
This engagement reaffirms SLU’s dedication to SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), fostering global synergy through meaningful academic exchange. (Article by OGRAASP | Photos by UIO and OGRAASP)
