Pag-IBIG Fund StAR Award recognizes SLU as Top Employer

Saint Louis University (SLU) was bestowed the Pag-IBIG Stakeholders’ Accomplishment Report (StAR) Award as one of PAG-IBIG Fund’s Top Employers (Private Sector) for the year 2024, given during the Pag-IBIG Fund Stakeholders’ Accomplishment Report YE2024 Royce Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat, Pampanga, on 28 March 2025. This is the second time SLU received the StAR Award for its commitment towards the welfare of its employees. 

SLU strengthens commitment to refugee education with Pathways Pilipinas Alliance

Saint Louis University (SLU) reaffirmed its commitment to refugee education and global collaboration by participating in the ceremonial signing and launch of Pathways Pilipinas on 25 March 2025. The event, held at Horacio Cebrero Hall, De La Salle Philippines, marked a significant step toward creating sustainable opportunities for refugees in the Philippines. 

TES Orientation

SLU OGRAA hosts TES Orientation for scholar grantees

The Saint Louis University (SLU) Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA), now overseeing scholarship programs, conducted a Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Orientation for student grantees under the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST). The orientation was held on 27 February 2025, at the Audio-Visual Room of the Waldo Perfecto Building.

SLU OGRAA Director elected as new UMAP Council of the Philippines Secretary

Saint Louis University (SLU) Director of the Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA), Stephenie O. Busbus, PhD, was elected as the new Secretary of the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) Council of the Philippines during the 2025 General Assembly and Election of New Board of Officers of the UMAP Council of the Philippines  on 26 February 2025 . The event was held at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Auditorium, Higher Education Development Center (HEDC) Building, CP Garcia Ave., UP Diliman, Quezon City.

SLU strengthens ties with Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyarkaya (UAJY) 

Saint Louis University through the Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (SLU OGRAA) hosted a collaborative meeting with a delegation from Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) to further strengthen the longstanding partnership between the two institutions. The visit, which took place on 18 January 2025 at the Administrative Center, J. Burgos Building, SLU Main Campus, focused on enhancing existing partnerships and developing new collaborative programs.
