The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines invites us to join the fight to help our home.
In 2015, ahead of the Paris Agreement, Catholics, particularly in the Philippines, have submitted 900,000 petition signatures to limit the warming to 1.5 degrees. With the recent UN Climate Report, which the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres describes as “code red for humanity”, it is imperative to act now starting with signing the Healthy Planet, Healthy Planet Petition. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines endorses the petition through its Season of Creation Message of 2021.
