In celebration of the Mental Health Month, the HILOM sessions are designed to nourish the soul, soothe the mind, and strengthen the bonds of our community such as interactive talks and kwentuhans. We believe that these activities will serve as avenues for stress management, relaxation, and emotional regulation, enabling our Louisian students to care for their mental health. Moreover, this activity may also serve as an opportunity for the Louisian community to connect and support each other, impressing that a support system is available.
This activity falls under the CICM Advocacy of Peace, Justice, and Integrity of Creation as it promotes connection and support among the Louisians. As the Louisian students bond with and get to know each other, they are able to form a shared responsibility of building each other up.
The interactive talks will be conducted face to face in both Campuses. Likewise, the kwentuhan sessions will be conducted face to face simultaneously at the Main and Maryheights Campus with the assistance of volunteer Peer Facilitators as well as assigned Guidance Counselors/Associates and School Psychologists.
