Saint Louis University (SLU) has continuously embraced advancement and innovation by equipping its human resources.
On 23 October 2023, the document controllers of different offices/schools/units were effectively equipped with advanced tools and knowledge in a bid to enhance document management for its Quality Management System (QMS) processes. Initiated by the Office of Internal Quality and Data Quality Assurance (OIDQA) in partnership with the Technology Management Development Department (TMDD), the QMS training program titled, “Google Sites Training and Workshop for Document Controllers,” was conducted at the Fr. Francis Gevers Hall.
The event commenced with a keynote address from the Quality Management Head and Vice President for Finance, Roberto M. Arguelles, PhD. The training proper followed which was led by TMDD and OIDQA through resource persons Hector L. Martin, Director of OIDQA; Cecilia A. Mercado, TMDD Director/Data Protection Officer; Aloysius Dimitri Nacnac, Junior Programmer; and Maria Teresa G. del Rosario EdTech and Help Desk, TMDD.
The highlight of the workshop was the hands-on training session conducted by Mr. Nacnac. Participants had the opportunity to create and design their own QMS Google Sites and present their sites to fellow Unit Document Controllers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among colleagues.
