Saint Louis University – School of Law (SLU–SOL) held its Law Alumni Caravan on 8 December 2023 at the Moot Court, Diego Silang Bldg, SLU Main Campus in preparation for the School’s 70th Founding Anniversary and Grand Alumni Homecoming.
Featuring a presentation of plans by the Alumni Association for the upcoming 70th anniversary of SLU–SOL, law students and alumni gathered at the Giant Steps to film their video teaser for the aforementioned events.
Atty. Socrates A. Padua, President of the SLU SOL Alumni Association stressed the significance of creating a venue for the law community to meet and strengthen camaraderie, “[We want them to] reminisce about the best of the past, be together in the present, and hopefully in the future make the School of Law more vibrant and [able to] achieve more.”
The Law Alumni Caravan held in SLU was the third leg of said caravan, with the previous ones held in Pangasinan and La Union.
After 70 years of excellent Christian Law Education, SOL will highlight the achievements of new graduates and alumni, including their top-performing streak in the BAR examinations on 22 March 2024 during the Rambakan: Grand Alumni Homecoming.
An open house of SOL will be held after the 70th Anniversary celebration, while the Grand Alumni Homecoming Night will be held during dinner.
On 23 March 2024, SLU Law Alumni Association will also conduct the Juris Doctor (JD) conferment ceremony at the Fr. Gevers Hall, SLU Main Campus. Fr. President Gilbert Sales will confer the JD degree in the presence of esteemed guests from the law community.
