SLU School of Law (SOL) Political Law and Criminal Law Department Coordinator, Atty. Jennifer Asuncion, took part in the Supreme Court Focused Group Discussion on protective writs in relation to the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020.
The Committee conducted this dialogue to gather inputs from key stakeholders regarding the challenges in the process of implementing the protective writs over the years. The involvement of Atty. Asuncion in this focus group discussion ensures benefit to the development of fortifying the human rights protection in the Philippines.
This undertaking contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
