The Saint Louis University (SLU) Alumni Association through its School of Accountancy, Management, Computing, and Information Studies (SAMCIS) Chapter, in coordination with the SLU Finance Office and the SLU Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (SLU-OGRAA) distributed this semester’s Legacy Wall Scholarship fund to thirty-nine (39) SLU Alumni from the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSAC) who will take the Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountant (LECPA) on 25-27 October 2024. The said distribution was held on 19 October 2024 at the Diego Silang Building, Room S311, SLU Main Campus.
The scholars were warmly welcomed by Ms. Purita O. Pacial, CPA, President of the SLU Alumni Association-SAMCIS Chapter, and Ms. Victoria Ann L. Jaurigue, CPA, Treasurer of the SLU Alumni Association-SAMCIS Chapter. Those present in the distribution of the financial aid were Ms. Carmencita M. Dionisio, Secretary of the SLU Alumni Association-SAMCIS Chapter, Mr. Allan Frank B. Silva, SLU Assistant Treasurer, and Mr. Joshua D. Madongit, SLU-OGRAA Internationalization and Alumni Affairs Coordinator.
The Legacy Wall Scholarship initiative of the SLU Alumni Association grants Louisian alumni financial aid for board or bar examination preparations. This semester, each scholar received Php 5,000.
