Saint Louis University (SLU) warmly welcomed the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA)- Engineering Batch 1976 for a meeting about a scholarship program on 10 February 2025 at the International Teahouse, Administrative Building, SLU Main Campus.
SLU’s Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA) Director, Stephenie O. Busbus, PhD; Director of Center for Counseling and Wellness, Marie Ellami Refuerzo; Guidance Associate, Christine Marie C. Kee; and SLU Scholarship Program Coordinator, Elmer A. Benito represented SLU in the meeting with the Engineering Batch 1976 led by Scholarship Project Head Mr. Kiko Cervantes along with Mr. Jan U. Ursua, and Mr. Jonathan Lacambra
The meeting commenced with an introduction of attendees and an official group photo documentation.
During the discussion, Mr. Cervantes detailed the timeline of the Engineering Batch ‘76 and Friends Scholarship Program where the plan intervened in early 2023 until the finalization of contracts in August 2023.
Kenu Riel Malto, a 2nd-year Civil Engineering student, is the first scholar of the project, which takes effect this Second semester, Academic Year 2024-2025.
The scholarship program aims to enhance global partnerships and reinforce the dedication to educational partnerships.
