“Project MaTuto” mass tutorial initiative by SEAHS continues to help SEA students

The School of Engineering and Architecture Honor Society (SEAHS) embarked on a mission to support SEA students in their academic journey through Project MaTuto. Initially targeting freshmen and sophomores preparing for preliminary examinations in September 2023, this initiative has evolved into a cornerstone of academic support within the School of Engineering and Architecture at Saint Louis University.

SEAHS recommences “Project MaTuto” mass tutorial in preparation for Midterm Exams

Saint Louis University’s School of Engineering and Architecture Honor Society (SEAHS) continued “Project Matuto” for the Midterm examinations on 5 and 6 April 2024, at the Otto Hahn Building, SLU Main Campus. In continuation of the partnership with the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers – JSLUC’s Peer ChEtorials (PICHE-JSLUC), this initiative advances toward the midterm, being hosted by SEAHS members.

SLU-SOM Rotaract Club conducts Outreach Program in Itogon Benguet

On 23 March 2024, the SLU-SOM Rotaract Club of Baguio embarked on a noble mission to provide essential healthcare services and promote education in the heart of Benguet, Philippines. Spearheading a Medical Outreach program at Gold Creek Elementary School in Ucab, Itogon, the club showcased the power of collaborative efforts in uplifting communities and addressing fundamental needs.

Internatinalization Week

SLU holds 2024 Internationalization Week to foster cultural diversity, global engagement

Saint Louis University (SLU) held the opening ceremony of the four-day Internationalization Week organized by the Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA) on 23 April 2024 at the Fr. Francis Gevers Hall, Diego Silang Building, SLU Main Campus. With the theme, “Celebrating Diversity, Connecting Cultures,” international students, school administrators, faculty members and promoters of internationalization took part in the celebration of the pursuit and accomplishments of internationalization.

NEOLOUPHIS hosts seminar promoting the creation of safe spaces and gender equality

On 14 March 2024, the New Louisian Philosophical Society (NEOLOUPHIS), represented by pre-law interns under Saint Louis University’s Philosophy Program and supervision of Attorney Mark Gil Ramolete, MA Philos, JD, LLM (Fariñas-Agustin and Partners Law Office); and in partnership with Kaisa Ka North Luzon and Young Women Initiatives (YouWIn), hosted a seminar entitled “Breaking Stereotypes and Creating Safe Spaces: A Seminar on Gender Equality and R.A. 11313” at Mines View Barangay Hall, which was followed by the first session of Women Kumustahan and first launch of Project Sinulid.
