Saint Louis University (SLU) conducted a pre-departure orientation on 20 January 2025 at the Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA) for students of the School of Accountancy, Management, Computing, and Information Studies (SAMCIS) bound for Varna University of Management in Bulgaria.
The said orientation was facilitated by OGRAA Director, Stephenie O. Busbus, PhD with SAMCIS Dean, Ms. Glory I. Dela Peña; Business Administration and Entrepreneurship Head, Zenedith P. Monang, PhD; and Director of the SLU University Research and Innovation Center (UNRIC), Richel L. Lamadrid, PhD. The orientation provided essential preparations for the students, focusing on the culture, food, values, and traditions of Bulgaria.
In this endeavor, SLU SAMCIS warmly congratulated Nicole Alexis N. Mondiguing, Juliana Dyanne R. Chua, and Walter C. Ligawen Jr., along with their parents, as they embark on their global learning experience.
