SLU STELA holds in-service training for faculty members

The School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) of Saint Louis University (SLU) conducted an inter-department in-service training on 7 April 2025 at the Fr. Francis Gevers Hall, Diego Silang Building, SLU Main Campus. Titled “Shaping Strong Foundations: Integrating Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through Political Science, Philosophy, and Communication,” the training gathered STELA faculty members from the departments of Physical Education, Languages and Communication, Social Work, Political and Social Sciences, Professional Education, Religion, Philosophy, and Psychology. 

SLU co-hosts Regional Conference of Youth Ministers 2025

Saint Louis University (SLU) participated in the 5th Regional Conference of Youth Ministers (RCYM), fortifying its role and responsibilities as a Catholic institution. The conference, hosted by the Diocese of Baguio for this year and with SLU President Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD as the co-host, entailed plenary sessions held at the SLU Laboratory Elementary School (SLU-LES) on 24 April 2025. 

CHED-IAS, CHED CAR, and SLU co-host AIMS Capability Enhancement and Mid-Year Assessment Program

On 24 April 2025, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in partnership with Saint Louis University (SLU), launched the AIMS 2025: Capability Enhancement and Mid-Year Assessment program at Ion Hotel Amber Hall to promote regional academic collaboration and strengthen international education under the ASEAN International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Program. The event gathered key stakeholders and academic leaders to discuss efforts in enhancing international student mobility.
