Saint Louis University-Sacred Heart Medical Center (SLU-SHMC) has been officially accredited as a Medical Tourism Facility and was awarded the coveted Seal of Accreditation by the Department of Tourism (DOT) after the successful onsite inspection on 7 April 2025.
Director Jovita A. Ganongan, DOT-CAR Regional Director awarded the Certificate of Accreditation to University President Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, University President and SLU SHMC Hospital Administrator Dr. Paul Adlai B. Quitiquit at the newly opened Fr. Theophile Verbist Hall, SLU-SHMC on 08 April 2025.
Accreditors from the Department of Tourism (DOT) were led by Ms. Dessa P. Munar, Tourism Operations Officer I; Ms. Aira Shayne Cacay, Tourism Operations Assistant; and Atty. Mia Jasmin C. Lasa, Senior Tourism Operations Officer. Dr. Quitiquit, Dr. Danilo Flores, Medical Director; and Aldren R. Remon PhD, Head of Patient Experience Office accompanied the accreditors.
