On 8 August 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU) warmly received a delegation of professors from the University of Hanoi, Vietnam, led by University President Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD.
The visit began with a vibrant welcome performance by the SLU CCA Dance Troupe at the Fr. Jose Burgos Administrative Center, SLU Main Campus. The professors were then given a tour of the university’s notable facilities. This included a visit to the Museum of Igorot Cultures and Arts, where they gained insight into the rich local heritage of the region. They also explored the Fabrication Laboratory – CAR located in the Otto Hahn Engineering Building. Additionally, the group visited the Water is Life refilling station at the Diego Silang Building, highlighting SLU’s commitment to sustainability and community health.









The visit, aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 17 (Partnership for the Goals), provided an opportunity for meaningful cultural and academic exchange, fostering goodwill between SLU and the University of Hanoi.
