In an announcement on 20 August 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU), through its School of Nursing, Allied Health, and Biological Sciences (SONAHBS), was declared the top-performing school in the August 2025 Medical Technologists Licensure Examinations (MTLE) by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
This recognition was given among colleges and universities with 50 or more examinees and with at least a 90% passing percentage. SLU achieved an outstanding overall passing rate of 98.28%.
The PRC also announced that 3,660 out of 4,720 (77.54%) successfully passed the MTLE, which took place on 12-13 August 2025 at testing centers across various locations, including NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales,Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
