The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) granted reaccreditation for five years, or until August 2030, to four (4) academic programs of Saint Louis University’s (SLU) School of Accountancy, Management, Computing and Information Studies (SAMCIS). This was revealed in a letter dated 02 September 2025 from the PAASCU Executive Director, Ricardo R. Palo, addressed to SLU President, Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD.
The accreditation has again signified that the University’s academic programs exceed minimum government standards, demonstrating excellence in learning outcomes, governance, and responsiveness.
The programs that were granted reaccreditation until August 2030 are as follows:
- Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management
- Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
Overall, PAASCU accreditation is a mark of distinction for SLU. It indicates that the university provides high-quality education, strengthening its reputation and credibility among students, parents, and educational partners.
