In a move that fortifies the university’s commitment to excellence in education as a significant contribution to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on Quality Education, the School of Advanced Studies (SAS) of Saint Louis University (SLU) turned over a collection of the most recent theses and dissertations to the Baguio City Public Library on 16 September 2025.
The long-standing partnership between SLU and the Public Library underscores their roles in nation-building, knowledge-sharing, and community development. The shared collection ensures that advanced academic resources become more accessible to the public, particularly those who may not have direct access to university libraries.

The newly acquired academic works will serve as valuable resources for students, researchers, educators, and community members seeking reference materials for their own academic studies and research projects. Importantly, the initiative reflects a broader vision of creating inclusive learning spaces where local communities can engage with higher-level research, warranting that education remains a shared responsibility and a driving force for sustainable progress.
