From 24-26 October 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU), through the faculty of the Department of Accountancy (DOA), the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), and dedicated student volunteers, carried out its three-day board operations in unwavering support of Louisian examinees for the October 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (LECPA). To ensure a strong and deeply personal Louisian presence throughout the examination period, the initiative extended across the three official testing centers in Baguio City: PRC-CAR, Baguio Palace Hotel, and Skyrise Hotel.

At daybreak, DOA faculty members, JPIA officers, and Louisian student volunteers positioned themselves outside the testing venues wearing headpieces inscribed with “God bless, future Louisian CPAs,” and holding banners of encouragement. They remained ready to immediately assist examinees with last-minute concerns, including those who had forgotten essential materials such as calculators. This reassuring presence brought calm to potentially anxious moments. Transportation assistance was also extended to examinees traveling from the SLU Maryheights, Bakakeng, to their assigned test centers, ensuring smooth and timely arrival. To accompany them throughout the journey, a packed lunch was distributed on Day 1, followed by snacks on Days 2 and 3, strengthening the spirit of support and care. The atmosphere remained grounded in quiet assurance and community solidarity—a reminder that the Louisian family was firmly beside them from beginning to end.

The operations culminated with a heartfelt pagsalubong on the final day, where faculty members of the DOA, JPIA Officers, and families welcomed the examinees as they exited the testing centers. The moment was sincere and deeply human—marked by pride, relief, and an unspoken affirmation of their resilience.
This initiative powerfully embodied the CICM Advocacy of Integrity of Creation, demonstrating faith-driven accompaniment rooted in compassion, respect for human dignity, and care beyond academia. It further aligned with Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16) by upholding responsible institutional support, and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17) through the unified collaboration of faculty and students in
mission-centered service.
