Creative Writing Workshop marks the first collaboration of STELA student organizations

The School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) witnessed a milestone yesterday with the first-ever collaboration of various student organizations in a Creative Writing workshop. Spearheaded by the New Louisian Philosophical Society (NEOLOUPHIS) through Project Innovation. The event was held in partnership with the University Library and the American Corner Baguio, alongside the Communication Society (ComSoc), Political Science Academic Society (POSAS), and the Prime Movers Society (PRIMOSO).

SLU BA Communication launches Project MILAN in celebration of UNESCO Global MIL Week 2025

The Bachelor of Arts in Communication students of Saint Louis University’s (SLU) School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA), through the Communication Society (ComSoc), joined the celebration of UNESCO’s Global Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Week 2025 through the first phase of Project Media and Information Literacy Advocacy Network (MILAN) held on 20-22 October 2025 at the Diego Silang Building, SLU main campus.

SLU, ADMU Communication students navigate new media landscape in US journalism lecture

American journalist and educator Professor Gary Kebbel held his hybrid public lecture on “Navigating the News: Journalism in an Evolving Information Age” at the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), with the active virtual participation of Saint Louis University (SLU) BA Communication students from the American Corner-Baguio, Msgr. Charles Vath Library on 9 September 2025. The public lecture was organized by the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines, in partnership with ADMU and SLU, through the Office of Global Relations, Alumni Affairs, and Scholarship Programs (OGRAASP), School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA), and the Communication Society (ComSoc).
