JPIA-SLU members participate in Deloitte Tax Challenge 2026

The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – Saint Louis University Chapter (JPIA-SLU) participated in the Deloitte Tax Challenge 2026, an international competition designed to enhance students’ knowledge of taxation and expose them to real-world issues and trends. The event was held virtually, with the submission of entries on 30 September 2025, and the national finals scheduled for October 2025. Representing SLU were four BS Accountancy 4 students: Ashanna Nicole G. Bautista, Airixzel L. Rillera, Jecy Mae Padre, and Neil Joshua T. Tigas.

Unwavering Support in Action: SLU conducts 3-Day board operations for October 2025 LECPA Louisian Examinees

From 24-26 October 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU), through the faculty of the Department of Accountancy (DOA), the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), and dedicated student volunteers, carried out its three-day board operations in unwavering support of Louisian examinees for the October 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (LECPA). To ensure a strong and deeply personal Louisian presence throughout the examination period, the initiative extended across the three official testing centers in Baguio City: PRC-CAR, Baguio Palace Hotel, and Skyrise Hotel.

SLU Department of Accountancy holds send-off Mass and final coaching for LECPA Examinees

On 20 October 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU) Department of Accountancy held a meaningful event dedicated to the October 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountant (LECPA) examinees. The send-off mass and final coaching were organized in collaboration with the SLU Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA). They provided a holistic experience that supported the participants’ academic, emotional, and spiritual preparation.

SLU JPIA gathers for a Day of Fellowship, Leadership, and Advocacy

On 11 October 2025, the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants of Saint Louis University (JPIA-SLU) successfully held its General Assembly titled “Avisala: Ang Unang Pagtitipon” at the Devesse AVR and Desmedt Oval of the Maryheights Campus. The Encantadia-themed General Assembly has brought together over 200 student members for a full day of activities to nurture academic excellence, strengthen camaraderie, and promote leadership development. The program was thoughtfully structured to engage participants in meaningful and enjoyable experiences, from the opening remarks to the closing ceremonies in the late afternoon.
