The Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI), alongside a dedicated team of doctors, interns, junior interns, and medical students, successfully conducted a medical mission at the Benguet State University Closed Gym, delivering vital healthcare services to the local community. This event took place on 24 November 2024, and provided free consultations, medicines, and vitamins to a total of 336 patients.
On 19 November 2024, Saint Louis University-Sacred Heart Medical Center (SLU-SHMC) affirmed its stance as a leader in healthcare excellence, winning the Level III – Grand Prize of Safe Hospital Award at the 45th Annual National Convention of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines Inc. (PHAPi). The event was held at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, under the theme “Creating a Culture of Safety: From Prevention to Innovation”.

This event took place on 10 November 2024, through a collaboration led by the President of the Philippine Dental Association, Inc. Angeles City Chapter Dr. Charleen Farin in partnership with the Rotary Club of San Fernando City, the La Union Infinity Eagles Club, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
From 2 to 4 November 2024, the Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI), together with the Rotary Club of San Fernando City North, medical professionals, and dedicated volunteers, fulfilled a three-day Medical and Surgical Mission across the municipalities of Santol and San Gabriel, La Union.
On October 29, 2024, representatives from the academic and administrative units of Saint Louis University (SLU) participated in the Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training organized by the SLU Human Resource Department (HRD) and the Crisis Management and Resilience Team (CMRT). The said training took place at Fr. Francis Gevers Hall in the Diego Silang Building, and was facilitated by trainers from the Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association Inc. Baguio Benguet Chapter (PGCA BBC), alongside the SLU Center for Counseling and Wellness.
Saint Louis University – Sacred Heart Medical Center (SLU SHMC) was recently recognized for completing the distinguished Becton Dickinson-Joint Commission International (BD-JCI) PRIME (Preventing Risks of Infections and Medication Errors) Program at the virtual event, “BD PRIME Time 2024”, on 18 October 2024.
