Saint Louis University (SLU) hosted this year’s CICM Student Leader Convergence with the theme “Missio et Excellentia: CICM Student Leaders Pilgrims of Hope, Agents of Mission” from 08 October 2025 to 10 October 2025.
Saint Louis University (SLU), through the University Instruction and Development Committee (UIDC), conducts its Program for Sustained Trainings to Advance Responsive Teaching (UPSTART) to further capacitate its faculty members from the various Schools.

SLU, through Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD, signed a MOA for a Medical Scholarship Program with Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI) through its Executive Director Sebastian C. Quinones and Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. (BCFI) through its Executive Director Filipina C. Lauren.
“Look for the spaces that are available for us and fill out those spaces.” This was the encouragement posed by Atty. Maria Leonor ‘Leni’ Robredo, Chairperson and President of Angat Buhay and Former Vice President of the Philippines, to student-leaders during her keynote address on the second day of ‘Tayo-Tayo: The Youth’s Involvement in Solidarity and Social Transformation’ (Tayo-Tayo).
In coordination with Mrs. Charmaine P. Mendoza, Director of the Community Extension and Outreach Program Office (CEOPO), two Binnadang Health Fair Outreach Activities were conducted and participated by the Non-Teaching Personnel of Saint Louis University (SLU) at Barangay Happy Hollow, Baguio City on 25 May and 6 July 2024.
SLU is now offering a Masters in Nursing Education (MNE) degree. This came after the approval of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) per CEB Resolution No. 016-2024.
The CICM and Saint Louis University (SLU) had a long-standing record of being a strong ally and promoter of Environmental Preservation, Climate Change, Human Rights, and Laudato Si. Rev Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD, SLU President, forged an alliance with the Dominicans for Justice and Peace in promoting the handbook Climate Change and Human Rights Education for Youth in the Philippines.
