‘Semek’, the Cordillera Human Rights Hub, launched in SLU

In order to strengthen and expand human rights protection initiatives, Saint Louis University (SLU), through its School of Law (SOL) and the Chief Justice Manuel V. Moran Community Legal Assistance Office (CJMM CLAO), The Asia Foundation (TAF), and partners officially launched the Human Rights Hub in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) dubbed as ‘Semek’ on 9 June 2025. 

SLU Law Dean selected as TWG member for Policy Development on Flexing Learning Modality

The Technical Working Group (TWG) for the development of the Policy on Flexible Learning Modality in Legal Education met on 13 May 2025 to finalize key provisions of the proposed policy. The policy, informed by the real experiences of students, faculty, and administrators from law schools nationwide through comprehensive surveys, aims to modernize and adapt legal education to current learning needs.

SLU School of Law participates in the 7th Annual IPIRA Conference in Tokyo, Japan

Saint Louis University (SLU), through its School of Law (SOL), took part in the Seventh Annual IP & Innovation Researchers of Asia (IPIRA) Conference held at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, 4-6 April 2025. BSP Deputy Governor talks on consumer protection, anti-financial account scamming

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) visited Saint Louis University (SLU) for a discourse about new banking legislations– Financial Consumer Protection Act (FCPA) and Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act (AFASA)– in order to promote awareness among financial consumers on their rights and obligations under the law, particularly amidst growing fraud cases.
