Spearheaded by the Taiwan Education Center in the Philippines, the 2024 Taiwan-Philippines Medical University Leaders’ Forum was held from 7-10 May 2024 in Taipei, Taiwan and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Thirteen (13) Philippine medical schools were invited to participate in this event; which included our very own Saint Louis University – School of Medicine (SLU-SOM), represented by Dr. Judrelle Krizia C. Mariano, DPSP and Dr. Stephenie O. Busbus, PhD (Chair, Institutional Reputation and Effectiveness Committee and Professor of SLU – School of Advanced Studies).
The Rotaract Club of Saint Louis University’s School of Medicine celebrated World Polio Day by participating in ROTArun: World Polio Day last 22 October 2023 in Burnham, Lake Drive, Baguio City.
In celebration of Basic Education and Literacy Month, the Department of Labor and Employment represented by Mr Patrick Rillorta (Department of Labor Officer III), the Rotaract Club of Baguio (RCB) Summer Capital Headed by Pres. Roland Wong, and the Rotaract Club of SLU – SOM shared school bags and school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, including face masks and ascorbic acid syrup to students at the Nangalisan Elementary School at Tuba, Benguet through Project Angel Tree.
The Rotaract Club of Baguio Saint Louis University – School of Medicine conducted a circumcision drive that catered to 25 patients at Barangay Gibraltar Hall last 20 August 2023.
The MOMFI provided free medical services to the people of Umangan, Mangatarem, Pangasinan. The mission was supported by Agkapita Coffee Shop, a coffee shop known to be in the middle of a rice field.
