To congratulate and recognize the efforts of the Louisian community of the School of Law, a Testimonial Dinner was held for the 2019 Bar Examination Passers on March 25, 2023, at Newtown Hotel. The event served as a platform for the 2019 Bar Passers to express their sentiments about their experience as law students and in taking the bar examinations.
Awards were given to Atty. Anton Avila in recognition of his 8th place in the 2019 Bar Examinations. The SOL Leadership Award was given to Gabriel Gaab. This is the first non-scholastic award given by the School of Law.
Eighteen new lawyers shared that the bar examinations were easier compared to the quizzes and exams they had to pass to graduate law school. They encouraged the students to “trust the process” and accept that the professors always seek their best interest. They thanked their batch mates for helping them power through law school.
In the Testimonial Dinner, the winners of the Drama Fest were given an opportunity to present their drama to the participants, both onsite and online. Members of the SOL Liturgical Committee rendered intermission numbers.
