Saint Louis University responds to the call of the Department of Social Welfare and Development – CAR (DSWD-CAR) to become a collaborating partner in hiring-related activities. Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SLU and DSWD-CAR, the university becomes a workforce development partner, given the expansion of DSWD-CAR’s recruitment plan to entice a diverse and significant pool of potential and qualified applicants from SLU graduates.
The MOU was inked into partnership by Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, represented by Dr. Joselito C. Gutierrez, in the ceremonial MOU signing held at the DSWD – CAR Secretary’s Cottage on April 24, 2023. This partnership is also in response to UNSDG #8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, CICM, and CEAP Advocacy on Justice in providing opportunities for decent and quality work and a source of living.
