On April 29, 2023, the 22nd Regional Nursing Research Congress, in partnership with the Cordillera Association of Nursing Deans (CAND) was finally held at the Prince Bernhard Gym after a three-year hiatus. In the official post of SLU Daily Dose, thirteen nursing schools from Cordillera Administrative Region and Region 1 participated in the said conference with the theme, “𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝: 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨…𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨,” held at the Prince Bernhard Gym last April 29, 2023.
The Regional Nursing Congress highlights the presentation of studies that is of practical application for the improvement of the health and well-being of clients in the academe, in hospital settings, as well as in communities in support of SDG 3, Good Health and Well-The opportunity for all schools, with particular consideration to those in the Cordillera, highlighted the CICM mission of Justice, Peace, Integrity of Creation, and Indigenous Advocacy.
This conference also provides opportunities for student and professional nurses from the Cordillera and nearby regions to present their studies and disseminate findings, which aligns with SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
