Saint Louis University has once again secured its place among the top universities in Asia, as revealed in the 2024 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings: Asia released on Wednesday, 08 November 2023.
Adhering to its pursuit of academic excellence, quality education beyond borders, and development of empowered professionals, SLU is ranked #13 in the Philippines, #127 in South-eastern Asia, and #751-800 overall in the QS Asia University Rankings 2024.
According to the QS World University Rankings: Asia indicators, SLU ranked 251+ for both Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation; and ranked 301+ in other indicators namely: Faculty-Student Ratio, Inbound Exchange Students, International Faculty Ratio, International Research Network, International Student Ratio, Outbound Exchange Students, Papers per Faculty, and Staff with PhD.
Of the Philippine-based institutions, SLU ranked 6th in Academic Reputation, 7th in both Inbound Exchange Students and Staff with PhD, 9th in International Student Ratio, and 10th in International Faculty Ratio.
The results of the ranking acknowledged the commitment and focused efforts of the Louisian community performing as a QSA-ranked institution, steadfast in achieving an excellent institutional reputation recognized by the global community (Strategic Objective 2.3).
Further, recognized as a Three Stars Institution for Excellence for 2022-2025 by QS Stars, SLU will continue to engage in missionary and transformative education, ardently working to develop locally responsive, globally competitive, and empowered professionals for the 21st century.
