The School of Law’s CJ Manuel V. Moran Community Legal Assistance Office (CJMM CLAO) and the Law Student Practitioners (LSPs) conducted free legal aid at Malcolm Square, Baguio City on 1 December 2023 with the assistance and supervision of the faculty and supervising lawyers. This is part of the celebration of the 112th foundation anniversary of Saint Louis University. At least sixty (60) clients were assisted by the LSPs and lawyers who have participated in the event.

CJMM CLAO seeks to widen their reach and provide free legal assistance to those in need, especially for those that can’t afford to get into programs. With the success of this program, the School of Law and CJMM CLAO also expressed their gratitude to faculty members and SOL alumni that helped make the event possible. This event is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16 Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
CJMM CLAO continues to instill the initiative and drive to contribute impactful change in the community, as they also build this character within the volunteer Law Student Practitioners.
