In line with their recent efforts to promote a fair and inclusive teaching environment, the Saint Louis University’s (SLU) School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) conducted the first SEA SERVE (Service Excellence through the Renewal of Values and Expertise) program, which is a 1-day training workshop for SEA non-academic staff on 21 May 2024 at the SIRIB Center, Otto Hahn Building, SLU Main Campus.
This commitment to exceptional service extends above and beyond the workshop. The SEA SERVE program will be held annually, with the agenda tailored each year to address emerging needs and feedback from both staff and university constituents. This ensures that SEA staff consistently receive the training and support they need to deliver exceptional service and contribute to a positive and welcoming university experience for all.
This program aims to enhance customer service and promote the university’s dedication to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). This program brings together all SEA non-academic staff for a full-day training, focusing on two key areas: exceptional customer service and best practices in housekeeping and maintenance routines further aligning with the CICM’s advocacy for justice.
