In partnership with Saint Louis University, the Philippine Association of School Librarians, Inc. (PASLI) is conducting its 42nd National Conference from 26 to 28 June 2024 at the Fr. Francis Gevers Hall, Diego Silang Building, SLU Main Campus. This three-day event themed “IntenZfied School Libraries: Fostering Diversity and Inclusivity,” aims to spotlight the role of school libraries in promoting an inclusive learning environment.



City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong and PASLI President Maria Victoria E. Dela Cruz opened the first day, delivering the welcoming and opening remarks to the participants of the event.


SLU Vice President for Academic Affairs Felina P. Espique, PhD then delivered the keynote address on behalf of University President Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD, underscoring that school libraries serve as a “sanctuary of learning, a hub of exploration, and a reflection of our values as a community.”





The three-day event will include learning sessions by different schools and universities, and product presentations from various companies and organizations. This initiative aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 (Quality Education) and 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
