Saint Louis University’s School of Nursing, Allied Health, and Biological Sciences (SLU SONAHBS) – Department of Medical Laboratory Science was ranked as the top school in the August 2024 Medical Technologists Licensure Exam. With a passing rate of 95.40%, 83 out of 87 examinees from SLU successfully earned their licenses as Medical Technologists.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes top schools based on Resolution No. 2017-1058(C), requiring at least 50 examinees and an 80% or higher passing rate. The August 2024 Medical Technologists Licensure Exam took place on 6-7 August 2024, at testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao. As announced by the PRC, 3,872 out of 5,574 (69.47%) passed the exams.
