A mass was offered on 11 October 2024 at the Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Parish for the board examination takers from the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA), particularly the Geodetic Engineering program. Organized by the Association of Geodetic Engineering Students (AGES), the mass provided spiritual support and encouragement in their preparation for the upcoming Geodetic Engineering Licensure Examination, scheduled for 17 to 18 October 2024.
Throughout the Eucharistic celebration, prayers were offered for the examinees’ success, wisdom, perseverance, including their physical and mental well-being, highlighting the potential importance of balancing faith with academic efforts. The homily resonated with the students and emphasized that success comes through a combination of hard work and trust in divine guidance.



The service concluded with a collective prayer for the student’s success, health, and clarity during the exams, followed by a final blessing. As the mass ended, the students had a renewed peace and confidence, knowing they had the support of their families, teachers, and the Louisian community. Overall, the mass reinforced the idea that anything is possible with faith, determination, and the support of loved ones. It provided strength and a sense of confidence as they approach this critical step in their future careers.


This mass offering embodied the principles of CICM’s advocacy for justice and peace by creating a supportive community atmosphere that encourages ethical behavior and responsibility among future professionals. Additionally, it addressed SDG 3 by prioritizing the mental well-being of students and SDG 16 by cultivating a sense of moral duty to contribute to a just and peaceful society in their future endeavors.
