The Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI), alongside a dedicated team of doctors, interns, junior interns, and medical students, successfully conducted a medical mission at the Benguet State University Closed Gym, delivering vital healthcare services to the local community. This event took place on 24 November 2024, and provided free consultations, medicines, and vitamins to a total of 336 patients.
Among those served were 49 pediatric patients and 287 adults, many of whom had limited access to quality medical care prior to this event. The MOMFI team worked diligently to ensure every patient was given personalized attention, addressing a range of health concerns with compassion and professionalism. Beyond medical consultations, the mission also emphasized preventive care by distributing vitamins to boost overall health and well-being.
This impactful medical mission demonstrates MOMFI’s ongoing commitment to serving underserved populations and highlights how teamwork and compassion can overcome healthcare barriers.
Furthermore, the initiative supports the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), contributing to better health outcomes and fostering collaborative efforts for sustainable community development.
