The Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI) was privileged to provide medical missions in Sudipen, La Union, on 9 April 2025. Several services, including consultation, surgery, dental care, and pharmaceutical provisions, fostered a shared humanity and compassion with the community.

The MOMFI volunteers, doctors, and the local health service participated in the mission to deliver patient care. With more than just an outreach, rotations also encouraged collaboration, adaptability, and humility, as each role was essential to ensuring the flow and success of the mission.
The mission provided a rare space where knowledge met compassion, and service became a shared experience among the team and the community they served. The outreach also reminded everyone with a moment of pause, a breather from the rigors of school, and a powerful reminder of the lives waiting beyond textbooks and exams.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). (Article and Photos by MOMFI)
