In the spirit of volunteerism and interprofessional collaboration, the Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI) successfully conducted a three-day medical mission in Coto, Masinloc, Zambales, from 25 to 27 May 2025.


Medical services provided included medical consultation, general and OB/surgery, EENT (Eyes, Ears, Nose, and Throat) assessment, and pharmacy services for appropriate medication and post-consult care.
The mission was participated in with volunteer physicians, physiatrists, internists, pediatricians, obstetrician-gynecologists, and a general practitioner—alongside post-graduate interns, a US medical student ,a caregiver, and medical students from Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Medicine.
Through collaborative efforts, the mission reflected the core values of service, compassion, and medical excellence, addressing real community needs with tailored, patient-centered care.
The program aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). (Article and Photos by MOMFI)
