Louisians from the Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) Gielean Leen Nicolei N. De Castillo (89.4%) and Hanah Kristel M. Villanueva (89%) ranked 8th and 10th, respectively in the September 2025 Social Workers Licensure Exam (SWLE).
The BS Social Work Program of SLU also achieved a remarkable 98.78 percent overall passing rate, with all 42 first-time takers successfully passing the exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced on 16 September 2025 that 7,334 out of 9,647 examinees (76%) passed the September 2025 SWLE.
The SWLE was held from 8-10 September 2025 in 18 testing centers all over the Philippines including NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The 2025 SWLE results exemplify the dedication and quality training in the SLU Social Work program.
