Saint Louis University, through its School of Nursing, Allied Health, and Biological Sciences, (SLU-SONAHBS) achieved an impressive recognition for being the 3rd Top Performing School with an outstanding passing rate of 99.64%, producing 280 new Louisian nurses with six topnotchers at the November 2024 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE).
Dr. Aldren R. Remon, Chief Nurse of Saint Louis University-Sacred Heart Medical Center (SLU-SHMC), was awarded with the 2024 Dr. Perla B. Sanchez Leadership Award during the Gabi ng Parangal at Pasasalamat and 57th Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines, Inc. (ANSAP)Annual National Convention held at Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on 14 March 2024.
Together with the Medical Center’s partner organization, SLU- Nursing Alumni Association International, the SLU-SHMC Nursing Service Department conducted a Sustainable Gift-Giving Program for children of the DSWD-CAR, The Regional Haven, and the Northern Luzon School for the Visually Impaired last December 7, 2022, in Baguio City, Philippines.
