Dr. Aldren R. Remon, Chief Nurse of Saint Louis University-Sacred Heart Medical Center (SLU-SHMC), was awarded with the 2024 Dr. Perla B. Sanchez Leadership Award during the Gabi ng Parangal at Pasasalamat and 57th Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines, Inc. (ANSAP)Annual National Convention held at Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on 14 March 2024.
The prestigious award is conferred by ANSAP, Inc. to a currently-employed Nurse Administrator, Director of Nursing, or Chief Nurse who has strong influence in maintaining the highest integrity and competence in nursing.
Serving as SLU-SHMC’s Chief Nurse, Dr. Remon has remained dedicated to advancing the nursing profession as a Part-time faculty member of the School of Nursing, Allied Health and Biological Sciences (SONAHBS) Nursing Department and as a professor of the Nursing Graduate Degree Programs of the School of Advanced Studies (SAS) of SLU.
